Evoplay's Expansion Gets a Major Boost from a New ISO Certificate

Innovative game development studio Evoplay's planned expansion is getting a big boost from a new security certification.

The Certificate

The ISO 27001 certification has been awarded to Evoplay for the company's security management systems, an essential step in going live and boosting online presence across various jurisdictions.

The Testing

As a standard for increasing the presence across various jurisdictions, Evoplay’s internal processes were meticulously tested following strict assessment criteria over nine months.

Duration

Good for three years, the certificate stands as a testament to the company's ability to safeguard sensitive data, and add to the brand reputation as well.

Expanding Rep

The new certificate should provide all Evoplay partners with confidence in Evoplay's ability to resist cybersecurity threats.

Criteria Confirmation

The standard’s strict assessment criteria confirm that Evoplay has met 114 controls and 7 clauses required over a nine-month period. The certificate also confirms sufficient training of Evoplay employees are suitably trained to maintain standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Evoplay Spokesperson Speaks

Evoplay CCO Vladimir Malakchi said of the certification that “the integrity of our client's data is of the utmost importance to us, and by receiving this certification, we demonstrate the standard of excellence that we strive to maintain in all our products.”

New Expansion Plans

Malakchi called the certificate an exemplification of “the way we do things” at Evoplay while further indicating the organisation's “ambition we have in terms of expansion across regulated markets, especially in terms of Bulgaria and Switzerland reach.”

New Territories

The new territories mentioned by Malakchi indicate new regions around Europe which solidify Evoplay's greater reach. Currently, Evoplay is gaining strength in expanding into new regions in both Latin America and Europe, which is why the company is known as one of the most forward-thinking games producers in the world.

The year 2021 saw Evoplay wrack up a slew of industry rewards and plaudits for 2021, topped by Ivan Kravchuk winning SBC's 2021 Leader of the Year award.
