Exclusive Interview with Mancala Gaming Founder Nikita Gorskov

Q: It is fantastic to meet you. To get us started, please introduce yourself and your role at Mancala Gaming to our readers.

A: My name is Nikita Gorskov, and I'm the CEO and founder of Mancala Gaming.

Q: Mancala Gaming has been in the online gambling industry since 2019. Can you tell us about the games and tools you’ve developed since launching?

A: Our current library consists of 54 games, including 1 crash game and 5 instant games. In addition, we have a bonusing tool for player retention designed to help operators create various campaigns such as tournaments, jackpots, trigger events and free spins. Our bonusing tool doesn't require additional integration and comes standard with all our games.

Q: We love that the company ethos is: “Let’s forget about boundaries and limitations, and let’s create something truly unique” Can you tell us how this way of thinking has informed your game choices and development processes?

A: From the very beginning of our journey we set a task to innovate and create games the likes of which the industry has never seen. So far, we have introduced multiple skill-based slots, games with one-of-a-kind mechanics and instant games that tickle the nostalgia of old-school video game players. With this said, our entire team has the freedom and liberty to innovate and create genuinely different games.

Q: With the creativity and quality of your casino game library, how do you balance meeting your game release schedule/target while maintaining the same quality?

A: This is a challenging task which we are still perfecting. It is a balance or, better yet, a juggling of multiple departments. As of now, we have implemented processes that allow us to be way ahead in game development, which will enable our business unit to plan accordingly and always deliver on time.

Q: Which video slot is your favourite to play when you want to take a break and relax? What is it about this slot machine that encapsulates what makes Mancala releases so unique?

A: My personal taste is in high-volatility games. I love games with jackpots, both fixed and progressive. When I have time to play, my first choice is Buffalo Goes Wild as it was one of the games I personally took part in the development of, primarily its math, and so far, it is always my go-to. This game was our first try at in-game jackpots,  and we released it when it was absolutely perfect, despite having to move the release date. This is the standard that we adhere to.

Q: With the global legislation of online games of chance, it is essential to be licensed as widely as possible. Can you tell us more about Mancala's current licensing and its plans for expansion in 2024 and beyond?

A: This year, Mancala gaming will be a major stepping stone into licensed operations. We have a list of six jurisdictions that we are currently targeting. One of the most important licenses for us is the Czech one, as we are a local company and have very good relationships with the market operators. Furthermore, we are planning to enter the South African, Romanian, Italian, and Georgian markets.

Q: With fourteen languages already supported by your games and your plans to expand into more licensed territories, are there plans for even more languages? If so, can you give us an idea of which might be coming this year?

A: At this point, we have all the necessary languages; however, we are always open to new clients and are ready to localise with ease and speed to accommodate our product in the respected market.

Q: We appreciate you taking the time to give us such an insightful look into how you develop your amazing games and more. Before we close, what can fans of Mancala Gaming look forward to for the rest of the year?

A: This year will be a major year for Mancala Gaming, as we will be releasing multiple titles with never-before-seen mechanics. One of the games that we are planning for the end of the year will certainly appeal to a major public, bringing one of the most beloved mechanics from the mobile casino industry.
