Leading online gaming solution provider NetEnt has signed a licensing agreement with UK-based online gaming company Gamesys.

Under terms of the agreement, Gamesys will offer Gamesys's wide range of slot games to its long list of leading gaming sites which already includes Jackpotjoy, Starspins and Virgin Games, among others.
Both companies are committed to delivering enhanced player experiences, and the fit looks promising in that NetEnt will increase Gamesys' already prominent status as a leader on online gaming with a significant position in existing regulated markets. This also confirms to NetEnt's current growth strategy, according to NetEnt Malta managing Director Enrico Bradamante, who is also Chief of European Market Operations where much new regulation is taking place in emerging online gambling markets.
Complementary Technologies
Net Entertainment operates out of Sweden, and will offer a wide selection of its games across the B2C and B2B systems which Gamesys operates. Online casinos using Net Ent software include Free Spins Casino and Casino Cruise.
The majority of the games which Gamesys will roll out will first appear on the sites that Gamesys operates for Intertain Group, the majority holder of Gamesys customer-facing assets since a February deal this year. Casinos like Jackpotjoy Casino and Botemania run on Gamesys software.
The integration of online gaming platforms and systems continues, and the new deal demonstrates how the strengths of various iGaming players are being combined to accelerate competition. This is becoming the preferred best business method over internal development of areas that are not the forte of given iGaming companies in the highly stratified environment of specialization that the iGaming industry is entering into. That deal is worth £425.8m, with Gamesys and Intertain agreeing a ten-year service agreement whose technology includes platform services as well as gaming content.
