Guts Set to Join Microgaming Poker NetworkPublished August 4, 2015 by Florin P
Online gambling operator Guts signs up for MPN and introduces its customer base to online poker.
Microgaming is one the biggest software developers in the world and a natural choice for both established and fledgling casinos. Their celebrated Quickfire platform includes dozens of online gambling operators including Guts and it has a reputation for stability and diversity. The operator was obviously satisfied with the quality of service, as it decided to extend the partnership by signing up for MPT. This is an acronym for Microgaming Poker Network and it is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Microgaming Consolidates Its Portfolio with Poker
Until recently, the software developer only offered video poker that came in different flavors and had a low house edge. This made them popular among casino players but failed to appeal to traditional poker fans, which are likely to embrace MPN. Guts should also benefit from this agreement as it will add new members to its customer base, while providing gambling alternatives for existing players.
MPN is set to build on the prestige of the original Microgaming Poker Network, which was established more than a decade ago. The new technology will bring the game to more mobile devices and the multi-language software will be fully customizable, thanks to the innovative Babelfish API. Those who play across the network enjoy the best of both worlds, as they compete in major online tournaments and also qualifiers for land-based events.
Guts Returns to Its Roots
Guts online casino is owned and operated by the Gaming Innovation Group which just as its CEO Robin Reed recently stated, originated from the poker industry. By signing this deal with Microgaming they come full circle and in the process, will build a better player experience. Slot machines, video poker and table games at still at the cornerstone of their online business, but from 2016 onward poker will become an integrate part.
