Liverpool vs Stoke City: Match Preview and Betting Odds

The Premier League continues tonight at 17:15 GMT with a highlight between Liverpool and Stoke.
The history between Liverpool and Stoke City has been in favor of the Reds for a long time. In their last six matches, Liverpool has beaten the Potters five times. The sole highlight for Stoke was a 6-1 thrashing in Steven Gerrard's final match for the Reds. Stoke won at Anfield last January in the semi-final of the League Cup, but went on to drop the tie on penalty kicks. Make no mistake, Liverpool are a much stronger team and will win tonight's match.
The Reds are on fire over their last 15 Premier League matches, winning ten and drawing four times. Liverpool also lead the Premier League in longest home matches without a loss, also at 15 matches. They have not conceded a goal in their last two matches and keeping a clean sheet tonight would be the first time they have gone three matches without a goal under Jurgen Klopp.
Stoke are in 12th place with 21 points in the league and they are without a win in their last three matches, with two draws and one loss. They have five wins in their last ten matches, but Mark Hughes has never won a match at Anfield. His bad luck at the Reds' stadium was even worse as a player as he was part of the losing Southampton team 7-1 in 1999. The Potters could have Ibrahim Afellay could be back for Stoke tonight, following a terrible knee injury back in April. They will be without Marko Arnautovic due to suspension.
Liverpool are generally healthy, but they will be without Joel Matip until he gets over a problem with his ankle.
