It may not have been a pretty performance, in fact, it was downright terrible, but, the Brooklyn Nets' Big 3 finally got a win while on the court together. The Nets snapped a two-game losing streak, with Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving coming up big down the stretch.
The Heat was down big after 3-quarters of action but managed to fight back, pulling within 1-point of the Nets at one point. The Nets' Big 3 scored each and every single one of their 32-points in the 4th quarter and effectively held on to win.
“It was one of those games where we could’ve found a bunch of ways to lose it,” coach Steve Nash commented. “So I was happy with the character and resolve we showed.”
The Nets had lost two games to the Cavs, and, in their win over the Heat, they allowed Bam Adebayo to score a career-high 41 points. The Nets were able to stop 13-of-46 of the Heats' shots from deep and stopped them on defense to hold on and win 128-124.
Tonight, the Heat will be hungry for revenge and if they are able to start the game better than they did last night, they will have a great chance of doing so.
The Nets are still figuring themselves out, but, at least they have Irving on the floor now and Nash can go to work building an all-star team.
