NetEnt to Enter NJ Market with Caesars CasinoPublished June 26, 2015 by Mike P
A fresh deal for NetEnt will likely see the developer’s desktop and mobile games launched on Caesars Casino in New Jersey.
NetEnt is targeting expansion into the legalised online gambling market of New Jersey, having struck an agreement with Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE), as announced Thursday 25 June 2015. The agreement will entail NetEnt providing its premier igaming content to CIE’s Caesars Casino website in New Jersey.
Caesars Casino is operated as a multiplatform site in New Jersey, which will thus require desktop and mobile gaming content from NetEnt’s sprawling library of casino games. Video slots represent the developer’s largest gaming category, with the highest profile releases including titles such as Dracula, Aliens, Boom Brothers, Gonzo’s Quest, and South Park: Reel Chaos.
Before that can happen, however, NetEnt still needs to receive approval for its New Jersey gaming licence. That process is currently underway at the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). Both NetEnt and CIE must feel confident of the Scandinavian-headquartered developer receiving approval, otherwise a deal would not have been concluded with such haste.
Discussing the NetEnt Caesars Deal
NetEnt America managing director Björn Krantz sounded confident when discussing the ground-breaking deal: “I am confident that our games will be well-received by players, and that our efforts to provide [them] with the ultimate gaming experience will support CIE’s [growth] strategy.”
From the CIE side of the deal, senior vice president Marco Ceccarelli said “the inclusion of NetEnt’s titles in our portfolio provides us with another opportunity to deliver superior value to our players.” New Jersey players will now have access to games that are enjoyed on a daily basis by their European counterparts.
NetEnt has gradually risen to become a world-renowned presence in the global igaming industry, providing games to many familiar online casinos, such as LeoVegas casino, Mr.Green casino, Casumo casino and many more. Growth has been earned steadily since the software provider first established its headquarters in Sweden in 1996. Close to 20 years later and NetEnt maintains offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Kiev, Gibraltar, and Malta, employing more than 600 peoples across those sites.
