Online entertainment becomes hands-free with Samsung's ground-breaking new smartphone.
The technology world was set ablaze on Thursday night in New York's Radio City Music Hall, when Samsung unveiled its latest smartphone, the Galaxy S4, widely held as the most sophisticated Android to date. Might the Korean designers finally blown Apple out the water? Only consumers can determine that.
What can the Galaxy S4 do then?
The Galaxy S4's 5 inch screen with full HD capabilities is too pristine to touch. Samsung have moved beyond touch-screen technology to bring you the 'Smart Scroll' and the 'Smart Pause'. The S4 can track the eye movements of its user. So if you look away from the screen it will pause activity and resume activity when you look back at the screen. It does this using a front-facing camera that captures the user.
'Smart Scroll' means you can flick through webpages or photo collections without smudging the screen with your fingerprints. Tilting your phone or waving your hand above the screen will instruct the phone to move page.
The possibilities for online gaming and online casinos
The Galaxy S4's ability to track the users' movements, be it eye or hand movements, will no doubt herald Wii-like motion sensory games for online devices. As the pattern usually goes, video game developers make the first innovations and casino game designers follow suite.
The Group Play feature on the Galaxy S4 not only synchronizes S4s to play music but for group video gaming, using a built-in Wi Fi direct mode. The possibilities for online social gaming and interactive mobile gambling then become endless.
