NFL Monday Night Football Preview: Bears vs. SeahawksPublished September 17, 2018 by Sol FH
The Grand Finale of Week 2 kicks off tonight at 1:15 GMT between the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.
After an incredible Week 2, the game of the week is set to get going from Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears and the Seahawks opened up the regular season with a pair of losses in Week 1. Chicago went down at the hands of the Packers, while the Seahawks lost a lost a close one to the Broncos. Looking ahead to tonight's game, there are some competitive odds available ahead of the action.
Keys to Victory
Last week's loss to the Packers made some of the Bears' defensive team admit that they needed to play better in the second half. They were up 20-0 before Green Bay started to dominate the Chicago defense which will not be something that the Bears will be able to continue if they want to be a contender this year. The defense needs to pressure Russell Wilson as much as possible, but not at the expense of leaving talented Seahawks' receivers left open. Seattle also has to do better on defense with a thin roster left following some injuries last week.
With the Bears playing at home, they do have an advantage over the Seahawks, but not enough of an advantage that they can afford to play a less than perfect game to win. The Seahawks will take advantage of every chance they can get to move the ball on offense and make disruptions all over their defense. It will be a close game, but it looks like Chicago will take the glory and a 1-1 record after a 30-23 victory tonight.
