NFL Thursday Night Football: Eagles Vs. Giants

Week 7 of the NFL Regular Season kicks-off tonight with a Thursday Night game between Philadelphia and New York at 1:20 GMT.
The Eagles and the Giants kick-off Week 7 of 17 in the NFL and both teams are in need of a win if they want to try and salvage their respective seasons. The entire NFC East is currently a gong show, with 3 of the 4 teams therein, with only 1 win this year, while the divisions' leaders, the Dallas Cowboys, have 2-wins. Lest we forget that their star QB is out for the rest of the season with a brutal leg injury, so expect the Cowboys to continue losing games.
Actually, I'm not sure what is worse, the Cowboys losing their QB, or, the shape of the Eagles' roster this week. Philadelphia will be without running back Miles Sanders (knee), tight end Zach Ertz (ankle), nor defensive tackle Malik Jackson (quadriceps). However, they should be able to get play from wide receiver DeSean Jackson, tackle Lane Johnson, and cornerback Avonte Maddox who are all back in the lineup.
The Giants will be without star RB Saquon Barkley after he tore his Achilles tendon in Week 2, but, other than that the Giants are quite healthy. They should get Sterling Shepard (toe) back tonight, as well as veteran cornerback Brandon Williams (groin).
Last week, the Eagles lost badly to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Giants got their first win of the season against the Washington football team. That win could be the difference in tonight's game, as New York has a chance to move up in the division and take over the second spot.
NFL Betting
The Eagles are surprise favorites tonight, but this is the chance to capitalize on the underdogs from NYC. The Eagles are hurting and looked terrible against the Ravens. Expect the Giants to hold on for the win, tonight.
bet365 Sports has posted its odds ahead of this matchup and favor the Eagles at 1.44 to the Giants 2.85.
