There are proposals to circulate the ‘Danish Blueprint' for gaming to other countries in Scandinavia and the European Union for consideration. Two measures are being specifically targeted:

It has been noted that the social impact of gambling could prove negative if gambling is legalized, however the positive far outweigh the negatives of an illicit and corrupt black-market gambling operation in any of the EU member states.
