Contact by Play’n GO is a captivating video slot game based on ancient Mayan civilisation. This 5 x 7 slot is a jungle-themed adventure featuring cascading reels and clusters of winning symbols.
Leading game maker, Play’n GO recently launched its most daring adventure yet – Contact. This Mayan-themed slot game is peppered with mysterious symbols and hidden treasures. The game plays out on a 5 x 7 grid with cascading reels, much like other captivating slots – Viking Runecraft and Gemix.
Contact video slot features multiple winning clusters as opposed to paylines. When players land 5+ matching symbols, wins are awarded. Symbol values are multiplied by the total number of symbols to determine the total win.
The clusters function in a unique way. Winning clusters remain on the reels and losing clusters are removed, allowing more clusters to form. As new symbols cascade down the reels, they are added to the grid and winning combinations can form. The game rounds continue until no additional winning clusters are added to the grid.
In addition to clusters, there are also multipliers. Contact features 2, 4, and 6 multiplier rounds in the game. These elements work in tandem with the Bonus Round and the Super Bonus Round.
Special Rounds in Contact
The Bonus Round initiates when players form winning clusters from the top row to the bottom row in the main game. Special features include the Block Destroyer, the Extra Free Spin, and Symbol Upgrades. If the entire grid fills up during the bonus round, players are awarded a fixed reward of 25 x their bet value for each free spin that remains.
The Super Bonus Round is triggered when players fill the whole grid with winning symbols. Once this occurs, one of several winning features is randomly awarded. These include simple upgrades, extra free spins, and the block destroyer element. The maximum value of the multiplier is 30 X when a Block Destroyer appears during the Super Bonus Round.
Contact: In-Game Features
This mesmerizing game features a treasure trove of symbols including the block destroyer, extra free spins and symbol upgrade icons. High-paying symbols include the masks and low-paying symbols include the etchings. Contact opens in a spectacular fashion, with an imposing wall in the foreground and a Mayan temple in the background. Symbols fall into place between the pillars, on a 5 x 7 grid format.
Players can toggle their bet value by clicking on the +/- buttons, followed by the green circular arrows spin button to initiate the Contact adventure.
As soon winning combinations are formed on the grid, losing symbols collapse and new symbols cascade down the reels. Autoplay functionality is available, allowing players to automatically activate Contact for a pre-set number of rounds of play.
