Pragmatic Play Donates €5k to Women for Women Foundation

International Women’s Day 2021 has inspired Pragmatic Play to donate €5,000 to the Women for Women Foundation and participate in an online forum.

Gaming provider Pragmatic Play has honoured International Women’s Day 2021 by donating €5,000 to the Women for Women Foundation, which has amassed more than 40,000 members. Although centred in Malta, there are members from all over the globe. The online community is responsible for the Women Social Fund to support women and their families amid turbulent times.

Pragmatic Play’s contribution was also extended to the Women for Women celebratory event, wherein the iGaming software developer and provider had pledged to participate in 10 hours’ worth of discussions during the virtual conference. Among the wide-ranging topics up for discussion were Malta’s history of feminism and the roles of women in sport.

At Home on Malta

Malta is the home base of Pragmatic Play and the provider has established headquarters in the charming coastal town of Sliema. Outside of Malta, the provider is also present on Gibraltar and the Isle of Man, as well as Belgrade, Buenos Aires, Cardiff, Hyderabad, Kiev, and London.

Pragmatic Play’s €5,000 donation in March 2021 comes just three months after the provider made an even larger charitable contribution of €30,000 in December 2020. That particular tranche of funding was distributed among three other charitable foundations to highlight the provider’s commitment to the Maltese community.

Recent Developments

In 2021, Pragmatic Play has also been highly active in the development and distribution front. In February alone, the company secured deals with Ellmount Gaming and Kindred. An expanded deal with Broadway Gaming followed in March. The result will be the deployment of Pragmatic Play slots on the Butlers Bingo network.

Although known for online bingo and live dealer tables, Pragmatic Play is more widely famed for developing video slots. The most recent releases have included The Hand of Midas, Gates of Olympus, Joker King, Eye of the Storm, Dragon Kingdom: Eyes of Fire, Madame Destiny Megaways, and John Hunter & the Mayan Gods.
