Premier League Live Betting: The Manchester Derby

Manchester City vs Manchester United in the final derby of the season. Will City complete the league double? Find out tonight at 20:00.
One of the most anticipated derby's in the Premier League gets underway tonight between two teams that would usually be competing for top spot in the Premier League. Unfortunately, for both Manchester City and Manchester United, they are in a battle for a top four finish and a ticket to next season's Champions League. It is the first season for both new managers, Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho respectively, and not making it to the Champions League will be seen as a failure for either manager. A lot is on the line tonight, and for 90 minutes expect Etihad Stadium to feel like the center of the universe from 20:00 GMT.
City won the last derby back in September 2016 at Old Trafford, which at the time put them in first place of the league. That seems like ages ago, as City, now in fourth place with 64 points, is struggling to finish in the top four. United is just a single point down and Arsenal is 4 back with 60 points so there is a lot of pressure to win tonight, all but securing their spot in the Champions League next season. A win tonight will actually take City into 3rd place over the Reds, after Liverpool dropped 3 points losing to Crystal Palace on Sunday Night.
United are a different team now in comparison to where they were the last time they played City. Mourinho invested in his defense at the beginning of the season and now that the fruits of his labor are starting to be seen, United have been on an unbeaten run since October 2016. They won the League Cup and are in great position to win the Europa League. A win tonight would also put them into fourth place. That would be seen as a fantastic turnaround to a tough Premier League season and give the Red Devils much deserved hardware.
Manchester Derby Betting
Few matches in the Premier League draw as much attention from bettors as does this one. bet365 Sports has prepared accordingly with competitive odds for punters to choose. City are big favorites tonight with the home advantage at 1.85, but a bet with United at 4.50 could be the correct choice, as it will bring more winnings and it's not too difficult to seeing United emerge winners at the end of the match tonight.
