Premier League Match Highlight: Manchester United vs Everton

The Red Devils host the Toffees tonight at 20:00 GMT in front of a sold-out Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho is definitely an improvement at the helm of Man. U. Even though they are on a 19-match undefeated run they have suffered too many draws at Old Trafford this season, which has kept them out of the top 4. Fatigue and suspensions have also hurt United, but this week should be much better, as their Europa League quarterfinal match isn't until April 13 (Anderlecht), and they get both Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimović back from their respective suspensions.

United will be most-likely be without Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all still out with injuries. Mourinho is trying desperately to break into that 4th place spot in the league, but cannot do so if these home draws continue.

Everton also have some players out again this week including Morgan Schneiderlin, Aaron Lennon, Ramiro Funes Mori, James McCarthy, and Seamus Coleman also out to injury. Everton manager Ronald Koeman lost a tough match last week to Liverpool at Anfield and road matches have not been the best for the Toffees this season. When playing at Old Trafford, Everton does not have the best of luck. In their last 12 league matches therein, they have only been able to score in just five of those games.

With only eight weeks left in the Premier League 2016/17 season, Man. U has the chance to win 24 points, but have some really tough matches against Chelsea, Man. City and Tottenham in the next few weeks. A win tonight is a must if Mourinho is to make it into the top four, but he will also need some luck from other teams in the league if his push is to work.
