Arsenal currently sits in 11th place in the Premier League standings but could jump to 9th with a win over Newcastle, tonight. The Gunners will be without defender Pablo Mari, as the Spaniard is out with a calf injury, which also prevented him from playing against Crystal Palace, which ended in a draw.
The Gunners have won 3 matches in their last 5 matches and seem to be coming together as a more cohesive unit. Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli may not be back in the lineup tonight, but, Thomas Partey and Gabriel Magalhaes are pushing for recalls for tonight's match.
For the Magpies, midfielder Ryan Fraser is out due to a suspension after two bookable offenses in their win over Sheffield last Tuesday. Jonjo Shelvey and Jamal Lewis may be back in the lineup but have yet to be deemed fit.
