Serie A Betting: Udinese Vs. Juventus
Published July 23, 2020 by Sol FH
Serie A action continues today at 18:30 with a major matchup between Udinese and Juventus.
With La Liga over and done with and the Premier League just one matchday away from the end of its season, Serie A still has four matchdays left, as Juventus look to win their ninth title in a row. An amazing feat by any standards, especially with the stiff competition and challenges that the 2020 season has introduced.
If the Old Lady can beat Udinese today, they will be 8-points ahead of Atalanta in second place, depending on results from other matches. One thing is for sure, they will be playing to win today, and every day until the first place is a lock. They need 4-points to secure first-place and a win tonight would give them some leeway going into their last three matches.
Udinese is still trying to stay in the Serie A for next season. They are currently in 16th place with 36-points and it looks like they will be in the clear, but after a terrible start to the 2020 season, with a 10-game winless run, they will need to make some changes for next year.
Ronaldo on a Tear
In Juventus' last match against Lazio on Monday night, Cristiano Ronaldo again proved that he is arguably the best player in the world right now. He scored both of the team's goals including his twelfth (out of twelve) penalty shot goals to start, and then he put the second in the back of the net in open play. It was his 50th goal for Juventus since joining the team last year. Even with the Corona-break, Ronaldo has scored 30-goals this season and he was ahead of Immobile for league-leader.
Prediction
Not much to think about here, Juventus all the way, and a 3-0 outcome would be a safe bet.
Serie A Odds
Juventus is way ahead in the odds at 1.50, while bet365 Sports has Udinese at 6.50 to pull off the miracle win. A draw is listed at 4.33, but Juventus should easily win today.
