Portugal Operator Solverde Expands Online Offerings with Developer Darwin

Portugal iGaming operator Grupo Solverde has announced that its online domain will feature a larger variety of entertainment thanks to local games studio Darwin.

In a press release published by European Gaming Media and Events, the Espinho-headquartered firm announced the new partnership will bring more offerings to its locally licensed online casino.

The Integration

Solverde is set to add Darwin developer's line of innovative blackjack games and leading Banca Francesca title to its current sportsbetting offerings.

History of Collaboration

Grupo Salverde has been working with Darwin since 2019, and lauded Darwin for “distinguishing itself through the innovation” of the latest offerings, which will bring a full six new blackjack variant along with a new series of online video slots committed to “product disruption.”

Solverde Head Speaks

Head of Solverde Online Casino division Silvia Meneses further indicated that that the Solverde website has already established itself with Portuguese players through a selection of 1300 innovative games provided by supplier partners Red Rake Gaming, Microgaming, Habanero Systems BV and Playtech. The latest deal is a measure to diversify Solverde's entertainment offerings with the addition of 359 titles including 33 in the month of September.

Of the greater strategy of the move, Meneses said:

“Darwin bets on the versatility and at the same time the simplicity of the game mechanics,” affirming the organisational goal of optimizing the gaming system to maximize the experience “from any mobile device.”

Grupo Solverde Director Americo Loureiro called online video slots “the most popular form of iGaming entertainment in Portugal,” catching 76% of Portugal's online slots market share.

Diversification

Loureiro looked forward to Solverded harnessing Portugal players' interest in online slots through the diverse range of tiles it has already offered through supplier agreements which include content from Synot Games Limited, Play‘n GO, NetEnt AB and Big Time Gaming Proprietary Limited.

Loureiro expressed organisational confidence by acknowledging that “the online casino market in Portugal is increasingly competitive and we believe that our offer stands out for its innovation and will always be one step ahead.”
