The Big Winners of the 2016 IGA Awards

Monday night saw William Hill and Leo Vegas Casino crowned with two of the biggest awards at the 2016 IGA event in London.

Professionals from every sector of the global igaming industry gathered at London’s iconic Savoy Hotel on 1 February 2016 for the ninth-annual International Gaming Awards (IGA). The star-studded ceremony attracted iconic sponsors in the form of Microgaming, PokerStars, NetEnt, and IGT. Just below is a recap of the biggest award-winners from Monday night.

Online Gaming Operator – CherryCasino

CherryCasino first began trading as a Swedish gaming business all the way back in 1963. The brand would later take an evolutionary step forward by launching as one of the first online casinos in 1996. CherryCasino’s gaming diversity and customer service has now been recognised with IGA’s Online Gaming Operator award.

Online Sportsbook Operator – William Hill

William Hill is one of the UK’s greatest success stories for a high-street sports betting operator that also became successful online. IGA recognised William Hill as the leading Online Sportsbook Operator during 2015 for its ability to cover countless sports, in-play betting, and mobile compatibility.
