Warriors Can Break Record for Best Start Ever in NBA History Tonight

Can the Warriors make it 16-0? Find out late night tonight at 3:30 GMT as they host the struggling Lakers.

The Warriors have tied an amazing record. Currently at 15-0, the Warriors are in the company of the 1948-49 Washington Capitols, and the 1993-94 Houston Rockets for best starts ever in an NBA regular season. The Warriors crushed the Denver Nuggets 118-105 on Sunday night to pull even farther ahead of the NBA Western Conference, and face a struggling Lakers squad in last place in the West with only 2 wins and 11 losses.

The Lakers are missing their heyday's in which Kobe Bryant was a superstar. Now averaging a mere 16.1 points per game, Bryant, the team's scoring leader looks out of his league and could opt out of play during or after this season.

Steph Curry is on the other side of the spectrum. The defending NBA MVP is averaging 33.6 per game and still has yet to get beaten this year. Curry is arguably the best player in the world right now, say what you want about LeBron James, Curry is a true leader, a smart and quick player and is the main reason for his team's success.

It doesn't look like the Lakers should pose too much of a threat against the Warriors, especially with the Dubs playing at home in Oakland tonight. It looks like Golden State will break and set a new record for best NBA Regular Season Wins and if the Lakers don't get something going soon, it will be the worst year in the franchise's history at the rate they are going.
