Online poker rooms see increased interest, as one of their own re-enters the market.
Total traffic rose at online poker rooms immediately following last week's relaunch of Full Tilt Poker, as hundreds of thousands of former customers rushed back to claim their funds and begin playing again.
Poker traffic upAccording to PokerScout, which measures traffic across the online poker sites, around 400,000 former Full Tilt Poker customers rejoined the world of online poker in the week after the sites relaunch, helping to boost global traffic by around 10 percent across the board.
Rather than snatch players away from its poker rivals, Full Tilt's renaissance appears to have aided its competitors. With thousands of people prevented from accessing their FTP funds for more than 18 months, it seems these reborn players are putting their funds back into Full Tilt but also into other sites.
Where else to play?Aside from the obvious choice of trying out Full Tilt Poker's brand new sites, we recommend that players also shop around and find out what is best for them. Some of the best poker rooms include William Hill Poker, 888 Poker 3D and Cool Hand Poker.
William Hill Poker, run by the same people who bring you its online casino, sportsbook and other offerings, is currently offering all new players the chance to claim up to $25 in free bets (or currency equivalent). Simply open an account using the special promo code F25.
