Business Expansion According to the report, Sagi - who holds a 40.4 percent share in software development company Playtech - is already in talks to acquire the Greek company together with at least one other investor. The government is believed also be considering selling just a portion of its stake in OPAP. Did you know that 60% of gamblers online are women? I bet you didn't!Gambling always had an image of being a mans game. The visual of a man Hovering over a craps table with a drink in one hand and a woman in the other,Throwing chips to the dealer every time another man looks at his babe. There areMany memorable scenes in films that have created this distorted image of a mens club only" game. But that isn't so! Behind all that smoked filled air and greasy big hands and tons of cheap cologne, there is that image of a woman standing beside for support, better known as the good luck charm. This is all a blurry picture of the power a woman really holds.Beneath all those jewels and red lipstick, a womans red press-on-nail, is always secretly dangling from an ace of jacks. We have been deceived. Woman though being labeled, as just the babe, has made it hard for them to enter the casino and sit alone at a blackjack table. And anyway they're just damn tired of hanging around the slot machines hearing the cacacachange. With the new virtual casino world, women have been taking to their couches and are enjoying a game of blackjack, without feeling uncomfortable. This new phenomenon, referred to as online gambling, is slowly tarnishing womans image. The rapped around his arm days have turned women into hardcore gamblers. Mark my words, the day will come, and you'll start calling it a woman's game, or a womans world.

Choosing the right casino is a personal matter. For guidance one should look for one that is reputable. Fairness, honesty, and reliability are three key factors along with knowing that the operator is financially stable. Check that the casino has the proper insurance, is legally licensed, is bonded, and is properly owned. Also, make sure that the site has proper functioning, that the games run smoothly without interruptions and that their clients are comfortable with their service. Check for gambling fees. Make sure there are no hidden costs, and that the collection of one's winnings is paid out promptly. It is important too that the customer service is available and adequate. The most important aspect of the casino is the attitude in its response to problems and payouts. Also, gamblers feel that telephone reps are more responsive than E-mail reps. How the casino represents itself visually is equally important. If the site looks shabby, most likely it's not committed to serious gambling. Taking the time to put together a well-planned site gets high marks for reliability and long term success. It is possible to check the validity of the gambling site by looking to see if it is a registered member of an industry trading organization. In order to obtain a license, operators are required to show the software that they are using. However, they are not overly watched in this regard. The best way to tell that a casino is worth its grain of salt is to check if they are using systems that are most desirable in the industry. Finally, look for a casino that has been around for at least two or more years and that is favored by many.
Gamblers are growing impatient. Two bills that haven't been passed by Congress are still pending. Due to recent events, Congress's agenda has been allotting most of its time to national security. As it seems now, gambling is not its priority. Gambling matters are still pending. A way to turn Congress's attention towards these other matters was proposed by Prudential Securities. Prudential suggested to Goodlatte and Leach to combine their legislation proposals to the anti- terrorism bills that haven't been passed by Congress yet. Prudential stated that that's not that likely to happen since the industry is still divided on the e-gaming ban matter. Bobby Siller, a member of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, believes that Internet gambling should be controlled. He also says that, We're in a new era. We have to have an environment that allows them to grow. If we don't, they'll be left out. We need to be flexible and creative." There are a number of influential people opposing the online gambling world. Kim Sinatra said,"Its taken a long time to bring credibility to this (the land based gaming) business. It's important we don't do anything that would jeopardize that respect."
According to Jupiter Media Metrix, an established analytical and web statistics company, 13.6 billion people entered gambling sites. The recent growth of the online gambling industry has focused the company's attention on creating a new wing for this matter and the online gambling advertising industry. The demand for Internet ads has increased from 911 million to 2.5 billion last year. Despite legal and moral matters on Internet Gambling, net surfers are still attracted to this whole new virtual world. Due to the easy access of online gambling, it is believed to increase the number of gambling addicts. There are a few proposed bills still pending on the matter of regulating online gambling. However, there are others who would like to completely ban Internet wagering. Because of such a high demand for gambling and the financial potential it has, it would be unrealistic to stop people from this popular phenomenon.
