Live bet: 49ers vs Rams

Tonight’s Monday Night Football game features the San Francisco 49ers visiting St. Louis to take on the Rams. The 49ers are coming off two straight wins heading into tonight’s game, while the Rams have suffered two losses consecutively. The visitors are currently 3-2, while the home team are struggling this season, currently at 1-3.  Head to Head Much can be said about the 49ers this season, both on and off the field. Their running game has been strong, as suspected pre-season, Colin Kaepernick has run over 200 yards, which is good enough for second place amongst all NFL QB’s, trailing Russell Wilson (Seahawks) by five yards. Kaepernick hasn’t had the kind of season San Francisco fans were hoping for, as the star QB is good enough for 17th overall. The Rams however, are going through what could be called a ‘transition’ season. They have only won a single game, as result of beating yet another one-win team, the Buccaneers.  Things are not as sunny for Jeff Fisher's Rams, a team riding a two-game losing streak with just a single win on the season—which came via a two-point win against another one-win team, Tampa Bay. If there is some good to be said about the Rams’ disappointing start to 2014, it is that they have a passing game that is as good as any in the league.  Injury Report Both teams are relatively healthy, which should make way for a real NFC showdown.  For the 49ers, Tight end Vernon Davis is still questionable and for the Rams, Running Back Zac Stacy is questionable.  Keys to Victory The 49ers need to capitalize on the weaker St. Louis run defense.  St. Louis has the leading passing defense in the NFL and with San Francisco struggling through the air expect their run game to take down the Rams. Live Bet Few online sports books are offering the variety of NFL online betting markets as bet365. Punters have the 49ers at 1.57 and the underdog Rams at 2.55. In addition, there are Point Spread, Game Totals and a number of markets available at bet365 Sports. Prediction: San Francisco 34 - St. Louis 17

Robyn Slot from Genesis Gaming Released at Flash and HTML5 Casinos

Genesis Gaming of Nevada has just released a brand new video slot called Robyn across four leading online casino platforms. Among the well-known software platforms are Odobo, Leander, Openbet, and Microgaming Quickfire. The launch of Robyn will ensure that thousands of online casino players are able to experience it from the outset. Background on Robyn Slot The name of the online slot is derived from the lead character, Robyn, who is an expert archer. She can be seen riding atop a white horse during the course of the game, as she embarks upon a fairytale adventure to protect her village from a wicked sorceress. All in all, the game is firmly rooted in classic fairytale storytelling. For slot design, Genesis has utilised a classic five-reel design featuring 243 ways to win. Three or more wild symbols will trigger the Wild Arrow Free Spins Feature. Flash and HTML5 Delivery In addressing compatibility, Genesis Gaming has adopted the innovative approach of developing Robyn to function on Flash and HTML5-powered casino platforms. This strategy will ensure that Robyn is available both on desktop and mobile devices alike. Additionally, there will be minimal mobile limitations because specialist apps do not need to be required to deliver the slot game to players. Simultaneous Mobile-Desktop Release In the wake of the release, Genesis managing director Geoffrey Hansen has explained that the company’s strategy is to implement its releases on open gaming platforms that are mobile friendly. To that end, Genesis depends on its Conception XD framework to create games that are ready for simultaneous desktop and mobile releases at launch. And genesis appears to have found a winning strategy for competing in the industry. Neill Whyte of Microgaming has since shared that Robyn is the first external game to launch in Quickfire at the same time for Flash and HTML5.

bet365 Controversy Over Chinese Gamblers

The Guardian newspaper has carried out an investigation that suggest bet365 may be accepting wagers from Chinese citizens, which is strictly forbidden by the authorities in Beijing. The Guardian Allegations According to the article, bet365 has become one of the biggest online gambling operations in China, even though it has no physical presence in the country. Evidence that supports this is the fact that bet365 has recently opened a call centre in its' home town of Stoke on Trent, with an estimated 50 Chinese speaking staff, and that the company regularly changes its' web addresses to hinder attempt by the government to shut them down or block the sites. It is alleged that a number of Chinese citizens have been arrested for wagering at bet365, or for promoting the site on their blogs. Local laws are designed to severely limit online gambling, with just a few betting opportunities permitted. This has led to Macau becoming one of the biggest gambling centres in the world, while Chinese tourists frequent casinos around the world. The investigation also stated that only 50% of bet365's 2013 revenue came from territories where the company actual holds a license to operate, much of which must come from China, while it also claims that they operate a complex payment system that allows Chinese players to fund their wagers in the local Renminbi currency. bet365's Response Replying to these allegations, a spokesperson for bet365 said, ''There is no legislation that expressly prohibits the supply of remote gambling services into China by operators which are based outside.'' adding that ''Any allegation of illegality on the part of bet365 is therefore untrue.'' bet365 have special reasons to be concerned, as under new UK legislation, any gambling company who get more than 3% of their revenue from outside of the country must prove that they have a legal right to do so, Competitors like William Hill, and Ladbrokes do not appear to have any Chinese facing opertaions, although bet365 is far from being the only company that does have them.

Canadian Lotto 6/49 Ready to Award CAD$13,000,000

On September 15, 2014, the draw for the Canadian Lotto 6/49 will take place with the jackpot now estimated at over CAD$13 million. This is one of the pioneering lotteries in the world, having been established in 1982, and it remains a top favorite for customers from North America. However, thanks to online ticket vendors like The Lotter and Lottery Master, this Canadian lottery and every other major game in the world are made easily accessible to all interested customers. Choosing the numbers The Canada 6/49 Lotto keeps things very simple and players simply need to select 6 numbers out of 49 consecutive options. An additional bonus number can be selected and this will count only for secondary prizes. In order to win the big one, all six numbers must be matched with the ones selected at random during the draw. With the next one taking place on Wednesday, there is plenty of time to get the lucky numbers in and purchase the tickets from the comfort of your own home. Buying the tickets While tickets for the Canadian Lotto 6/49 are only sold in Canada and in the United States, reliable online brands have made it a popular choice for players across the globe. Its simple system makes it very appealing when compared to some of the other lotteries and the prizes of course are the main attraction. Lottery Master and The Lotter allow users to easily select what numbers they want to play on any of the big lotteries. Representatives will then go and buy the actual tickets in the countries where they are sold and make them in the name of the online client. The sites also provide convenient ways to claim the prizes on the internet but the jackpot amount might require a personal appearance from the winner.

Ladbrokes Exits Hungary, Norway, and Switzerland

After performing various reviews of the European legal and regulatory frameworks in place across European igaming markets, Ladbrokes has taken the strategic decision to pull out of Hungary, Norway, and Switzerland. All player accounts registered with Ladbrokes from those countries have been cancelled, as have all marketing activities. Hungary the Only EU Member From the three countries highlighted by Ladbrokes, only Hungary is a member state of the EU. Even then, Hungary maintains a degree of independence that is similar to the UK. Since joining the EU in 2004, Hungary has retained its own currency (the Hungarian forint) rather than adopt the euro. This strategy has afforded Hungary greater control over its own economic affairs. Therefore, it should be of no surprise that Hungary has maintained tight legal and regulatory controls. Norway a Legal Monopoly In 2014, Norway has been one of the most active countries for policing unregistered online gambling sites. And Norway has complete power to do so, because it is not subject to the EU’s legal policy pertaining to the freedom of trade. Norway is legally entitled to maintain a state monopoly to operate its gambling services. To that end, operator Lotteritilsynet issued a government-backed federal warning to online gambling operators who were continuing to serve Norwegian players. Switzerland Historically Neutral Similar to Norway, Switzerland is also not a member of the EU and has also outlined strict punishments for online gambling operators who serve its citizens illegally. This comes as little surprise, though, as Switzerland has long had a history of remaining neutral from European policy. Change in the UK All of this comes at a time when UK operators are preparing for a change in licensing on 1 November, after which all operators serving residents will be legally required to hold a license with the UK Gambling Commission. Expect more operators to alter their organisations in the coming weeks.

US Federal Authorities Seeking Extradition of Calvin Ayre

Federal authorities in the state of Maryland are asking for the extradition of Calvin Ayre to the US. The 53-year-old Ayre is a known online gambling mogul who became a billionaire after forming the online gambling company Bobdog in the mid-90s, launching Bobdog.com in the year 2000. 2012 Indictment In February 2012 Ayre was indicted in charges filed against him in Maryland. Ayre was charged with conducting an illegal gambling business and being involved in a money laundering conspiracy together with three other accomplices. According to the indictment, Ayre and the three men moved at least $100 million from offshore accounts to bettors in Maryland and elsewhere in the US, at the same time investing $42 million for advertisements to attract US gamblers. Since the indictment, Ayre has abstained from setting foot on US soil; however he has continued to be active on the Bodog website and the CalvinAyre website which covers news from the online gambling industry. At the time of the 2012 indictment, Ayre responded on his news site, calling the charges "an abuse of the US criminal justice system for the commercial gain of large US corporations." Ayre in "Most Wanted" List A disclosure made in the US District Court in Maryland last Friday has shown the intent of the US to have Ayre extradited to the country to answer for the charges. Assistant US Attorney Richard Kay asked that the case will be administratively closed until Ayre is extradited to the country, something which could take a number of years according to Kay. Ayre, who is believed to be in Canada or in Antigua, has also made it to the "Most Wanted" list of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement department for "Illegal Gambling Business, Money Laundering". At the time of writing of this article the CalvinAyre website was down.
