Against all odds, the Cleveland Cavaliers are up 2-1 in the 2015 NBA Finals. After a huge performance over the first 3 quarters, not even a massive comeback by Golden State in the fourth quarter was enough to stop Cleveland.
Let's put all the cards on the table for a minute. The Warriors were the outright favorites to win the NBA Finals, which is still very much possible. The first two games in Oakland went into Overtime, the Warriors taking the first, while the Cavs took the second, LeBron has had to play without the other star players on their roster Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, both out with bad injuries. Instead, James has found an unlikely, yet dedicated teammate in Matthew Dellavedova, as the big Aussie dove after loose balls and scored 20 points to help in the Cavs' Game 3 victory.
The Warriors played such a good fourth quarter that it looked like the Cavs wouldn’t hold on. Curry shot some of the best baskets one can even hope to see, as he ended the night with 27. Let's face in though, James finished with 40 points (again) and has almost made the top three of highest NBA Finals scorers of all time.
It was a rough night for the officials, as Warriors Head Coach and ex-NBA star Steve Kerr gave them an earful after the end buzzer. He shouldn't be worried about them though, as he still hasn't figured out a way to stop LeBron from having All-Star performances each and every game.
