888 online gambling firm's advertising has paid off. The company has announced that for 2013 their revenues have gone up by 7% to $401 million. This comparison was taken from the same time in 2012. Much of this increase has to do with profits from their online casino, online poker and sports betting which has seen an increase of over 13% up to $76,000,000.
888 is well-known in the online gambling industry and is one of the leaders. their advertising can be seen on television, at major sports events, and all over the internet.
Moving into the US Online Gambling Market
Chief Executive Brian Mattingley related, "All of this was achieved whilst devoting significant energy and resources to preparing 888 for launch in the US market, I am incredibly proud to say that 888 is the only operator currently present in all three regulated states as we execute our strategy in what is potentially the largest online gaming market globally."
In total, all of the companies platforms saw an increase in revenue from 2012 of 19% or $15.5 million. It was however a year for Online Poker as their Poker platform saw the largest increase 21% in the amount of players signing up with 888 in the last quarter of 2013.
Ugly Duckling
There was however one down spot on the 888 sheet and that was their Online Bingo due to the strong competition in the field and it fell by 16%.
