888 Poker to Host Twitter Series

888 Poker, the reigning Poker Operator of the Year, will begin its inaugural Poker Series on Sunday, combining everyone's favorite card game with one of the world's most popular online social websites.

8TPS is the name given to 888's series of poker events, in which players can reserve seats for exclusive tournaments through Twitter. 8TPS will kick off March 11 with the $1500 Freeroll Tournament, and the winner will receive an LG Optimus 3D phone on top of the cash prize.

Players who already have Twitter accounts can register for 8TPS events just by reserving their seat through a Tweet with their player name, event name and the #888 series hashtag. Those who are new to Twitter should sign up today and follow the same instructions.
