The Innovative Open Space Format
The advisory board has seen tremendous as a result of the Open Space format. This format does not have a pre-determined or formal agenda as it encourages participants to create their own agenda. This format originated in the United States and has been used since the 1980s. Head of Content at Clarion Events, Ewa Bakun says that this is effective when specific conditions are present such as topics that the participants are truly passionate about.
Executive Director of Arizona Indian Gaming Association, Valerie Spicer said she thought the event was engaging and it allowed participants to achieve their goals. Director of Online and Internet Marketing at Tropicana, Luisa Woods said she was skeptical at first but she soon changed her mind and thought the format was a great way to gather information.
