Akamon Reveals Dragon Egg and Wild Bloom Slots

Akamon Entertainment has added to its growing library of social casino games with two new slot games available on Facebook and select mobile devices, plus distribution sites partnered with the igaming developer. Dragon Egg and Wild Blooms will be available free from late April 2015 and into the future.

Fantasy has proven to be a productive topic among slot game developers of late. And it should be of no surprise, considering Game of Thrones and the Hobbit trilogy have been wildly popular with viewers from all over the world. Akamon appears to be attempting to leverage that popularity with the launch of its Dragon slot.

Coming from the developer’s Tel Aviv studio, Dragon Egg features a curious four by six grid of reels. Comparatively, the overwhelming majority of online slots feature a three by five grid. That innovation will be important for attracting players to a free slot. Guaranteed stack is another principal feature. Players can trigger this for multiple payouts that will be boosted by 2x or 3x multipliers.

Wild Blooms

Wild Blooms is a nature-themed slot that will be made available via Akamon’s VIVA! Slots & Bingo app. At present, the mobile bingo and casino app is only available via Facebook accounts.

In promoting the slot, Akamon attempted to drum up excitement by explaining that the game would display “a new standard of graphics, math, and mechanics”. There is major winning potential for players, who trigger up to a 15x multiplier.

One Slot Game Per Month

Akamon Entertainment explained in the press interviews accompanying these slot releases that its collective talent and resources allow for the developer to “produce new high-quality slot games at a rate of over one per month”. Chief produce officer Alex Cohen said that its video bingo line is “expanding at a similar rate”. Akamon currently focuses on gamer markets in Southern Europe and South America.
