New licensing framework spurs tailor-made solution by the AGCC.
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has decided to take meaningful steps towards streamlining its operations in order to meet the new regulatory structure.
At the heart of their strategy are two different groups of stakeholders: businesses and consumers.
New Framework
The AGCC released the new licensing framework on Wednesday
at the Gaming Executive Summit at the Eurostars Madrid Tower, Spain. The GES
summit took place between 7-9th July and Alderney was a Gold Sponsor of the
event.
Amidst dramatic socio-economic change taking place on a global basis, the AGCC wanted a fresh perspective on a new licensing framework. Some of the reasons necessitating change include, licensing regulations, European compliance and the entry of media players into online gaming.
The Gambling Control Commission is even seeking to extend their customer safety net further afield, to games and services not under their jurisdiction - all in the interests of increased player protection. In fact so taken back are AGCC representatives that they are prepared to change the way gambling laws are conducted in the future.
Impressive resume
Alderney is no stranger to the top-level clientele. Besides
for efficient telecommunication and tax incentives, the AGCC is eager to snap
up more customers. That's why their organization is suited to registering more
applicants coming under its guardianship.
