ATP Beijing: Dimitrov vs Del Potro

The ATP Beijing Round of 16 continues with a big match between Grigor Dimitrov and Juan Martin Del Porto at 12:30 GMT.
What an exciting ATP Beijing it has been already after the first round. Yesterday, we saw World No. 1 Rafael Nadal in a battle to stay in the tournament, ultimately beating Louis Pouille in three sets. Today, the Diamond Court highlight takes place at half past noon between World No. 8, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, and World No. 24, Juan Martin Del Potro from Argentina. It should be an incredible match-up today, as these guys are evenly matched, with Del Potro at a slight advantage on the year.
Even though Dimitrov has a higher ranking than that of Del Potro, the Argentinan has the better record in head-to-head battles. Del Potro has won five of the six matches they have played, winning 83% of the time. In fact, the only time that Dimitrov won, was earlier this season in Cincinnati. Del Potro beat Dimitrov in Rome, and prior to that, in all of their matches from 2012-2016.
Dimitrov opened the tournament with a tough victory of Bosnia Herzegovina's Damir Dzumhur, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. He is now No. 6 on in the Race to London and gained an additional 35 points to his campaign for his first-round win. Del Potro is just beginning his tournament but likes his chances, "I think I'm fresh. I just came from home, I'm strong to play the tournament. To have Dimitrov in the second round is not easy for me. He's one of the favourites to win the tournament. It could be a quarter-final, semi-final or the final match. But tomorrow I have to be ready for the challenge," related Dimitrov.

Del Potro has the slight advantage over Dimitrov in their Second Round match, with bet365 Sports posting odds in the Argentinians favor at 1.57. Dimitrov is close behind at 2.25, but as history shows us, Del Potro usually plays very well against him. There are dozens of pre-game odds to choose from.
