ATP World Tour Finals: Djokovic vs. BerdychPublished November 19, 2015 by Sol FH
Djokovic drops a huge match to the Swiss Tennis God, but still has a chance to make the Semi Finals with a win tonight at 20:00 GMT against Berdych.
The World No.1 lost his first match last night since August 23 against none other than Roger Federer. Djokovic lost to Federer in straight sets, but still maintains his position in the ATP rankings. The Serb was stunned last night after he lost the first set 7-5, and just couldn't get back into the game losing set two 6-2. "You have those days when you are not feeling your best, not even close to the best," said Djokovic.
He does have an amazing record against Berdych at 20-2 against the Czech, but can he bounce back after his loss last night?
For the fifth time in the last six years that Djokovic will meet Berdych at the O2, with the Serb winning all four meetings. Djokovic has won the finals three-times in a row and before last night, he had won 38 consecutive indoor matches. The season-ending tournament is one of the biggest of the year, and for Berdych it will be a miracle if he can pull out the win tonight.
Berdych is 6-12 in the ATP World Tour Finals, with his best result coming in 2011 when he lost in the Semi Finals.
