In a corrupt band of 17 people whom scarfed up millions from Las Vegas gambling venues, last Friday three of the tricksters were sentenced to federal prison.
The U.S. District Judge Roger Hunt mandated Liang Tung Chan, Jie Bo Wu and Jun Huai Ma, three of the convicts, to cough up more than $3.3 million in compensation.
It was reported that the convicts were apart of a group that collected millions of dollars from cheating at Blackjack and Baccarat games, by folding and spotting playing cards. They were found guilty of a criminal-swindling plot and were sentenced from four to eighteen months in federal jail. The men claimed to have stolen from high profiled spots such as, the Riviera and the MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip, Harrah's New York-New York, as well as Rio and Gold Coast.
The remaining eight criminals pleaded guilty and are waiting for the verdict. However, authorities are still looking for four of the men who apparently got away. One of the two remaining men died and the other fraudster was found guilty for attempted murder in Canada.
