Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund to face off in all-German European football final
The UEFA Champions League 2012-13 finalists have been decided, and for the first time in the competition's history it will feature rivals from the German Bundesliga - Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
Finals preview
Four-time European champion Bayern finished second to Borussia in both the German league and cup competitions last year. However, the Bavarians rightly start narrow favorites to win this clash after it sealed this year's Bundesliga with a record six games left and backed it up by putting seven goals past Barcelona in the two-leg Champs League semi-final.
Borussia, who won their only previous Champions League final in 1997, are also in a rich vein of form, having sealed their semi-final against Real Madrid with a 4-1 first-leg home win. They too will be confident of succeeding when they meet their arch-rivals at Wembley on May 25.
