Berlin Affiliate Conference Surpasses Ambitious Expectations

Affiliates and introducing brokers are the newest segment enhancing the iGaming industry.

In an event designed to accelerate delegate attendance, the BAC saw a record jump last week.

Berlin Success

After concluding its first run from October 22nd-25th October 2015 in its new home in the Northern European hub of Messe Berlin, delegate attendance at the Berlin Affiliate Conference jumped a massive 37% compared to last year.

Enhanced Format

Delegate Michael Iranyi, Director of Marketing Services at William Hill, lauded the organisation of the event as well as the preparedness of the attending affiliates, meaning that BAC planners did a great job of marketing the event in its new home.

The publicity strategy of BAC centered on fomenting an environment that would empower delegates both the the gaming and finance sectors to integrate networking, learning and deal-making into one location.

Attendee Satisfaction

Delegate Anna Woodward and Commercial Manager said that she as an affiliate found the BAC conference invaluable in providing the opportunity to meet so many global partners under one roof, “enabling us to strengthen existing relationships and make many new ones.” She also was effusive in her praise of the wealth of industry expertise she encountered and the high level of insight that the two days of talks provided her and all delegates with.

New Segment

The biggest boost in attendance came from affiliates and introducing brokers, the group to which BAC marketing was added in the programming and build-up to the event.

Affiliate and introducing broker attendance was up 28% on last year, with relevant stand space increasing 10%, palpably increasing the alacrity of conference and showroom floor buzz from last year.

More Affiliate Programming

The next iGB Affiliate conference on the calendar is the London Affiliate Conference, taking place on the 4th – 7th February 2016. The tenth anniversary of this conference will provide a spectacular opportunity to build on the momentum of this year's BAC to catapult iGB affiliate relationships to another level of global cohesion, which all delegates that attended BAC 2015 are already benefiting from.
