Bet Live on Euroleague: Barcelona vs GalatasarayPublished February 12, 2015 by Sol FH
Group E action gets underway tonight with Barcelona hosting Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul at 20:00 (UK).
Barcelona are set to host Galatasaray tonight in Round 7 of the Euroleague’s prestigious Top 16. The last time that they met was during the playoff’s last season, in which Barcelona won three games to none. Galatasaray would probably like to forget those games, as Barcelona blew them out, including two games at Palau Blaugrauna. Both teams are coming off tough losses in Round 6 last week and will be eager to get back to winning games starting with tonight.
Barcelona are currently in 5th place in the Euroleague standings and Galatasaray are in 6th but a win tonight by the visitors would mean they will be in a tie, each with 3 wins and 4 losses.
Galatasaray will have their star point guard Carlos Arroyo and power forward Zoran Erceg, while Patric Young and veteran Kerem Gonlum to try and stop Barcelona’s star center Ante Tomic. Gonlum is just 3 offensive rebounds away from reaching the 400 mark, which would make him the second player in competition history to do so. The visitors will also be counting on big games from Justin Carter, Martynas Pocius and Vladimir Micov.
Barcelona is a perfect 5-0 against Galatasaray and they average an amazing win margin of 25.7 points against the Turkish team. They have suffered a load of injuries but still have excellent depth with Edwin Jackson, DeShaun Thomas, Alex Abrines, Mario Hezonja and more. Barcelona lost to country-rivals Real Madrid in a tough game last week but should be able to handle Galatasary quite easily, while at home tonight.
Bet365 Sports Game Odds
