Bet Live on NHL Eastern Conference Finals: Montreal vs New YorkPublished May 22, 2014 by OCR Editor
With Corey Price out of the NHL playoffs do the Habs have a chance against the Rangers whom lead 2-0. Game 3 starts at midnight in the UK.
A major comeback is needed if the Montreal Canadians have any hope of making it to the Stanley Cup Finals and that comeback needs to start on-the-road tonight. The Rangers have handled the Habs in games 1 and 2 in Montreal scoring 10 goals to the home team's 3. The biggest news that has series changing implications was the announcement that the Canadians' star goalie Corey Price would be out for the rest of the playoffs with an injury. Chris Kreider, Forward for the Rangers received a huge boo at Bell Centre throughout Game 2 as he was the reason for Price's injury after sliding into him in the second period of Game 1.
Before Game 2, Michel Therrien Montreal's coach made a big, bold decision reminiscent of a poker player going all-in and handed the Canadians' net over to 24-year old Dustin Tokarski. Dustin has had a lot of success in the juniors and the American Hockey League but it was his first ever NHL playoff game and as suspected he lost although he did play an excellent debut game stopping 27-30.
Game 3 tonight from Manhattan is a must-win for the visiting team which is never an easy task at Madison Square Garden which will be completely sold out.
