Bet365 Launches Playtech's Sprint PokerPublished July 1, 2012 by OCR Editor
iPoker Network's high-speed format is based on Full Tilt's now defunct Rush Poker Game.
bet365 this week became the first online gaming operator to launch Sprint Poker, the new fast-paced poker game from Playtech's iPoker network that was inspired by Full Tilt's now defunct Rush Poker game.
Introducing Sprint Poker
Sprint Poker, also known as Speed hold'em is the fastest way to play online poker, as players are dealt a new hand at a completely new table as soon as they fold their last. Instead of sitting around waiting for your online rivals to finish the hand you were also competing in, you just move on to a different table and begin betting there, so the action never ends.
Fast-paced poker games have been a hit ever since Full Tilt Poker introduced its legendary Rush Poker game. In the past year or so several online gaming operators have introduced similar formats, including Microgaming with its Blaze Poker game, PokerStars with Zoom Poker and Relax Gaming with Fast Poker.
bet365 is not the only operator to be a member of the iPoker network, so it is a fair bet other major poker rooms will also be adopting this quicker game soon. William Hill and Titan Poker are just two of the other leading internet poker rooms to be powered by Playtech's selection of poker games.
iPoker's slogan is "Always a full house," and it's not hard to see why when it offers a constant stream of online promotions, tournaments and other offers for the regular player. There is also the iPops series, which promises players a share from $1 million in prizes.
