Bet365 has taken another step in the right direction so far as responsible gambling is concerned, by signing on independent body eCOGRA as its regulatory audit partner.
Bet365 looks to futureBet365 announced Wednesday that eCOGRA would serve as its third-party regulatory testing and certification partner. The online gambling operator said it identified the need to appoint a strategic partner that would provide it with cost-effective, quality compliance and audit services.
Companies are increasingly recognizing the value of partnerships that will conduct independent specialist audit and testing procedures to streamline the complex mix of national regulatory requirements in new legislated and existing European markets, bet365 said in a press statement.
This move could be a sign that bet365 is preparing for more expansion as new European markets open up to outside competition.
About eCOGRAeCOGRA's brings its UK Accreditation Service-accredited testing laboratory and years of experience working with Big 4 audit firms to the table. It is perhaps the best-known online gambling auditor, and is well placed to handle the task put before it by operators like bet365.
