It's crunch time in the NFL as teams battle for a spot in the 2014 off-season. For one of the teams tonight, the playoffs are not in the cards, but for the other, a few more wins and the Miami Dolphins could make the grade. It's not the best game of the week but there are still a ton of markets for the 6-5 Dolphins visiting the 2-9 New York Jets at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

This week was worrisome for punters that were looking to catch the early markets as both the Dolphins and Jets had a number of key players on the Injury Report. After Week 12, Miami had QB Ryan Tannehill, RB Lamar Miller, TE Charles Clay and WR Mike Wallace as questionable throughout the week. The Jets were in no better shape, having already benched QB Michael Vick and posting RB Chris Ivory, WR Eric Decker, RB Chris Johnson and TE Jace Amaro. All except Vick, Clay and Amaro are expected to get the green light for tonight's matchup.

Team Breakdown

The Dolphins have been playing some excellent Football as of late and they are led by a strong Defense. Tannehill will also be able to have a heyday on the Jets weak pass defense. The Dolphins run game does not come anywhere near to topping the NFL, but Miller is solid in the back field and is strong on the ground.

The Jets are lucky to be on Monday Night with the dreadful season they have been having this year. Their run game on both sides of the ball is the only thing that is in the green this year, 5th overall in Rush Yards per game and 4th for Rush Yards Allowed after Week 12. The Jets are at home, which is another glimmer of hope but they don't stand much of a chance against Miami.
