The 2014 World Series has gone the distance; don’t miss the most important game of the year beginning at 00:05 (UK).
Many people thought that after Game 6, the San Francisco Giants would have been the winners of their third World Series championship in five years. That is until the Kansas City Royals came out of the dugout in the bottom of the second inning with their bats blazing. The Royals scored seven runs in the bottom half of the inning, in front of a sold-out Kauffman Stadium; now with the opportunity to win their first championship since 1985.
Tonight’s game will be one of the most watched sporting events of the year, as the underdog has the chance to beat the favorite.
In Game 6, Yordano Ventura put on a pitching clinic, much like Madison Bumgarner did in game 5 for the pirates. Ventura went seven innings without allowing a single run, putting the rookie all-star in the Royal’s record books.
Battle on the Mound
The Pirates will probably go with Tim Hudson to start the game, but expect Madison Bumgarner, the absolute best pitcher in the MLB this year, should make an appearance at some point. Will the Royals be able to handle Bumgarner tonight? Time will tell.
The Royals have opted to give the start to Jeremy Guthrie, whom took the Royals to the win in Game 3. Guthrie has a 3.60 ERA and has thrown extremely well against the Giants’ offense.
All or Nothing
After more than 2,500 games this year, the MLB comes to an end after tonight’s Game 7 championship and both teams will be using every trick and strategy in the book to pull out the win. KC manager Yost and Giants manager Bruce Bochy have the opportunity to make history tonight. When will Yost unleash his three-headed reliever’s monster – Herrera, Davis and Holland? Will Bochy bring out arguably the best World Series pitcher in the history of the world? Don’t miss out on any of the action.

Prediction
Last game, the Royals proved just about every critic completely wrong, destroying the Giants 10-0. If Bumgarner comes out early, the Giants will win another series. Tonight should be in favor of San Francisco 6-2.
