Betfair customers will now be able to use the widely available Ukash voucher system to both deposit funds and access winnings their accounts.
Betfair features a full online wagering service, from sports betting, Casino, Poker and Bingo action, plus the worlds' biggest betting exchange. While they already offered their customers a wide choice of deposit and withdrawal options, they have just expanded the range to include the Ukash voucher system.
Using Ukash at Betfair
Ukash vouchers can be bought at over 50,000 locations in the UK. When someone purchases one, they are given a printout with a unique 19-digit code on it, and can then use this code to deposit funds online. The payment is guaranteed to clear, as cash has already been paid for it, and due to a recent deal players can now withdraw funds deposited this way via cash machines. Before using Ukash at Betfair, however, players will need to verify their identities to remove the risk of improper use.
Ian Chuter, group operations director at Betfair has said of the new arrangement that "Ukash offers a secure and easy method of deposit and withdrawing, supporting our wider on-going aim of making it easier for customers to transact with Betfair,"
Both the desktop and mobile versions of Betfair will now accept Ukash payments.

Voucher payment systems don't require players to use a credit card, e-wallet or bank transfer to fund an online wagering account. Ukash is a major operator, based in the UK, who provide vouchers and a pre-paid MasterCard which allows users to deposit funds without needing to enter any financial information.
