Online sportsbook is first to go live with MPN's flash-based poker
Betinternet, the online sportsbook operated by Webis Holdings, has become the first operator to go live with Microgaming Poker Network's new flash-based game Quickfire Poker.
Sports-Poker Combo
Betinternet said the launch would allow its customers to enjoy the best of Microgaming's new flash-based poker and sports betting through a single account. They noted that while sports betting is the primary activity for their customers, punters often enjoy having an occasional hand at a poker table.
Quickfire also pointed out the benefits of the deal, saying that it provides an excellent solution for sportsbook and casino operators looking to supplement their game with online poker.
About Quickfire
The Betinternet launch has come quickly, considering that it was only last week that online gaming software giant Microgaming announced the addition of the new Quickfire game to its poker network.
According to Microgaming, Quickfire gives online gambling operators access to an array of industry-leading games including poker. Online Poker is available via the Quickfire platform through a Flash poker client, which enables players to start playing poker without having to register a separate account.
Most importantly, Quickfire Poker players have access to all the tournaments and cash games on MPN.
