Betradar Launches The First Ever Virtual Basketball Betting ProductPublished July 8, 2015 by Vlad G
Virtual Basketball is now added to the list of online betting products from Betradar, alongside virtual football, tennis, dog racing and horse racing.
Leading software provider for some of the biggest online sportsbooks in the world, Betradar, has announced that its offer will now include a virtual basketball product where punters will be able to place bets on a large selection of games. This makes it the first official large-scale virtual basketball betting league and it has been designed to look highly impressive, while providing different wagers and lines.
8 Matches Running Every 4.5 Minutes
Online players will have a lot of options to enjoy as the product is based on a league format and has 16 teams competing for the trophy. Since everything is made to take place very quickly, there will be a total of 8 matches running at the same time every 4.5 minutes and this results in 2,400 fixtures each day for punters to choose from.
Betradar will use a very realistic feed to provide the betting lines and make the experience as similar to the real thing as possible. This includes live scores, statistics and tables and the only difference is that new games take place a lot more often and there is no need to wait for days between events. The project was created by using more than 100 cameras to captures every move of the players on a full basketball court.
Virtual Sports Worth Billions
The virtual basketball sports betting product now joins the already impressive collection of options provided by Betradar, making it the fifth product on the list. More than 70 operators, including household names like bet365, have included Betradar Virtual Sports since its launch in 2013 and this generated more than €1 billion in turnover a year.
More and more players are enjoying the fast pace of betting on virtual sports and the thousands of options every day really make for a great selection that makes sure the action never stops. Online sportsbooks are of course meeting this demand and provide lines for virtual sports around the clock, including football, horse racing, tennis and dog racing.
