What do you get when you put one of the most prominent English Football clubs together with one of the biggest online sportsbooks in the world? Well, you get one of the most significant partnership agreements of all time, of course. West Ham has agreed to extend its partnership with Betway for another six years, and, it is the bookmaker's biggest deal to date.
The Hammers have been with Betway since 2015, and the primary focus has been to create meaningful connections between the club and their fans. The memories that have been made under this partnership are some of the most beautiful in professional sports. For example, the Betway Fan Taxi is a set of viral videos on Youtube, wherein Mark Noble and Robert Snodgrass dress up in disguise and drive West Ham fans around the city. The video is well over 149,000 views, and Betway produced it.
There is also the Betway Academy, which is an original web-series in which Westham players surprise amateur football players. In the first episode, West Ham stars Mark Noble, James Tomkins and Darren Randolph showed up and began heckling the amateur players. The videos are quite funny, and it shows just how unique the partnership between Betway and West Ham is.
A Winning Relationship
“Our partnership with West Ham United has been a huge success over the past four years, and we are proud to be extending it by another six," related Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway. “They are a club with one of the most passionate fanbases in the game, which we have built up a strong relationship with by giving them some unforgettable experiences and memories," he continued.
