Betway Becomes Dusseldorf’s Official Betting Partner

Betway expands its presence in Germany after reaching an agreement with Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Betway is a major gambling operator, offering sports betting opportunities to players from all over the world. Punters from Germany have a new reason to celebrate, as the bookmaker has signed a Bundesliga partnership after reaching an agreement with Weder Bremen. Fortuna Dusseldorf has joined the German first division this summer and in the wake of this deal, they will have Betway as their official betting partner. This three-year agreement will last until the end of the 2020/21 season.

Betway Signs the Third Major Deal This Summer

The bookmaker is already the main sponsor of West Ham United after reaching an agreement with the English Premier League side in 2015. They have similar agreements with Deportivo Alaves, Leganés, and Levante in the Spanish La Liga, AS Roma in the Italian Serie A and Anderlecht in the Belgian First Division A. Fortuna Düsseldorf is the second Bundesliga team to have them as the official betting partner after a similar deal was reached with Werder Bremen.

The summer of 2018 has been a busy one for Betway who expanded its presence in Spain and Italy. They value the German market and found it worthwhile to consolidate their foothold here by striking a deal with Düsseldorf. For the football club, this also represents an important milestone as it needs a powerful sponsor to help them build on last year’s success. The Betway Group has been around for more than a decade and it holds licenses in many European countries, to provide secure and legal betting services.
