BGaming is putting on the gloves for Ring of Riches, a video slot that has been officially licensed by the World Boxing Council.
As of May 2021, BGaming has struck a deal to develop a sports-themed video slot with the World Boxing Council (WBC). At this point, there has only been an announcement that BGaming will create the forthcoming WBC Ring of Riches slot to provide a boxing game for the marketplace – development is still to be completed.
Early Details
In the press release, it was revealed that BGaming aims to release WBC Ring of Riches later in May. The early information confirms that the slot will be compatible on multiple devices and will be built with five reels and four rows. BGaming has also revealed that the slot shall have 20 paylines and will perform with medium volatility.
As for the special features, WBC Ring of Riches will include gloves as the wild symbol. These can frame the reel position where they land and shall be locked on the screen for 10 spins. Predictably, the scatter symbols can be landed three times to trigger 10 free spins.
BGaming Slots
Boxing slots are few and far between in the iGaming market and Marina Ostrovtsova of BGaming believes that the historical links between casinos and the sport will provide a strong platform for the development of a licensed video slot.
BGaming does not have a sports slot in its current portfolio, so this marks a step forward for the studio. Some of the best-known slots that have been developed by BGaming include Mechanical Clover, Four Lucky Diamonds, Lucky Lady Moon, Hit The Route, Book of Cats, and Avalon: The Lost Kingdom.
