A new big data workshop will empower providers to increase user engagement exponentially.

The iGaming Super Show in Amsterdam is full of surprises.

The big data session of the intriguing Betting Trends and Strategies portion of the iGaming Super Show is generating a lot of early buzz.

Big Data Buzz

Taking place at 14:15 on the 9th of June of BeTS 2016 , the session entitled “Big data and sports betting: How to engage customers” will be led by iSport Genius Co/founder and Partner Nathan Rothschild.

The founder and leader of a company “providing unprecedented sporting insights” as “the world’s most comprehensive source of sports data” will deliver an in/depth discussion on how to attract new customers and incomer engagement.

How Big Data Can Increase Engagement

Rothschild will provide insights revolving around a main message that big data can support sports books in exponentially increasing consumer engagement.

Of big data, Rothschild explains that “the key here is not only high quality, deep data but the analysis of this data” which can result in insights that bettors may not otherwise notice.  When a sports site provides these benefits, the players are going to stay and come back.

Big Data Stories

Rothschild adds that “there are many stories like this that data can tell, but as an industry we have only scratched the surface despite the desire for this information being wide-reaching.”  Understanding how to tell new stories from big data looks to be the key benefit to all attendees of the big data session.

Integrating Display and User Experience

The session will also look at gamification and the display and user experience of data provision which Rothschild states “can make all the difference between an engaging and confusing platform.”  Rothschild will provide insights into how to use this integration to effectively update customers with more complex data.

Catch the Wave

Today, big data is emerging as an essential tool of customer engagement in not only sports betting, but iGaming in general, with sports betting representing the most overt information/based activity that iGaming customers engage in.

Catch BeTS 2016 on June 9th at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam as part of the iGaming Super Show.
