Big Names Announced for iGaming Super Show

With just one week until the beginning of Amsterdam's iGaming Super Show, some big names in the regulation business have been announced for a panel at the iGaming 4 Business Conference.

Representatives from the European Commission, Lotteries and Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission and Danish Gambling Authority will all appear on the panel entitled "Regulator Panel: Creating Inter-State iGaming compacts in Europe" at 10:40am on June 12, the iGaming 4 Business Conference confirmed.

Despite the best efforts of the EU, online gambling regulation in European countries is still characterized by a diverse range of regulatory frameworks. In 2012 the European Commission established an expert group on gambling to investigate ways to standardize regulations.

iGaming Super Show

The iGaming Super Show is the biggest online gambling event in the world, containing seven different exhibitions in the one location, including the iGaming 4 Business Conference and the mGaming and Social Gambling Summit. The event takes place across four days from June 11-14, with free attendance for members of the online gaming industry.

Other big names confirmed for the event include Playtech CEO Mor Weizer, Nevada State Gaming Control Board Chairman AG Burnett, and representatives from Facebook - who will discuss the relationship between real-money gaming and social gaming.
