The first iGaming event of its kind dedicated to Fantasy Sports in Europe is on the way.
In the progressive and user-friendly area of Malta, the inaugural European Fantasy Sports Summit (EFSS) is emerging as a must-attend event for all looking to get a grip on the vital place DFS fantasy sport is realizing in global gaming markets.
EFSS is set to explore areas of the current state of the union of DFS, including the challenges, opportunities, and regulatory efforts which make the case for DFS as an iGaming vertical.
The launch of this new event premiere event will take place Thursday, November 23rd, in Ta’Qali’s main convention hall.
Organized by the GamingMalta Foundation and Summit of iGaming Malta (SiGMA), Head of Operations and Business Development at GamingMalta Ivan Filetti lauded Malta’s “significant growth” and continued appeal to “foreign gaming companies.”
“As part of this success story we are embracing new technologies and gaming verticals, such as Daily Fantasy Sports,” continued Filletti, saying the new summit would be dedicated to further supporting the DFS sector, whose future in Europe is nothing short of “bright.”
Expertise On Tap
Experts are scheduled to share their DFS expertise across sports media, football clubs, regulatory bodies and the legal sphere based on support from major players in the sector such as DraftKings, Oulala, Funtasy.de and BDO.
Leading Oulala Speaker
A key scheduled speaker is Malta-based fantasy sports B2B provider Oulala CEO Valery Bollier, who will illuminate the reasons the DFS provider has succeeded so quickly in meeting the social and skill needs of the younger generation.
''When we launched Oulala, we were the only DFS company in Malta…fast forward to four years later, we've got a skill-based licensing framework and an abundance of DFS operators,'' commented Bollier.
