Bwin.Party Partners With Another Top Football Club

Bwin. Party Digital Entertainment, one of Europe's leading online gambling groups, has just signed another sponsorship deal with a top European football club - France's Olympique de Marseille.

Under the terms of the three year sponsorship deal, Bwin.Party will become the official online betting and gaming partner of Olympique de Marseille. The gaming operator said in an announcement this week that the deal will help boost brand awareness in the growing French market and cement its place as a top football betting brand.

Bwin.Party will integrate its products into Marseille's digital and social platforms and the two will collaborate on land-based and online activities. The online gambling giant's name will be displayed prominently in stadium advertising space, and there is also talk of joint mobile applications.

Another Big Deal

This is just the latest in a string of big partnership deals for Bwin.Party - the European online betting leader already has agreements with England's Manchester United, Italy's Juventus, Spain's Real Madrid, Germany's Bayern Munich and Belgium's RSC Anderlecht.

Olympique de Marseille is held in the same esteem in France as these other clubs are in their countries. The 114-year-old club from the Mediterranean south is the only French football club to have won the UEFA Champions League (in 1993), and has won the Ligue 1 title nine times.
